Join us for a fun-filled day of harmony.
Diva Day is open to students who identify as female or other marginalized gender, can sing in the treble clef, and are currently enrolled in a high school music program. Students will be required to learn three song arrangements and be prepared to actively participate in a day long rehearsal and an afternoon “Festival Showcase” that will begin at 5:00 P.M. Friends and family are encouraged to attend. The show is free of charge, however tax-deductible donations will be accepted.
During the lunchtime break there will be a “Quartet Festival Showcase” where students who are in smaller established ensembles (quartets or double quartets) are invited to perform for their peers and may be chosen to perform on the afternoon show.
For the optimum experience, students must be committed to learning the music before the event. Choral Directors are strongly encouraged to attend Diva Day. At least one chaperone (choral director or parent) is required for every school in attendance.
