Harborlites is always looking for singers interested in sharing their gifts and learning more about a cappella harmony, singing in the barbershop style, and performing. Our doors are open, and we invite visitors to come join us on the risers and sing with us.

“Harborlites has changed my life. When I joined in 2019, I was anxious to talk to new people and scared to sing in front of so many wonderful singers. Now, I have gained so much confidence in myself and my ability to sing because of the love and support that my Harborlites sisters have given me.”

“Our chorus culture is very positive, and we are constantly striving to take our vocal skills to the next level. This is thanks to the leadership of our director, Pam Pieson. She believes in always trying to do our best, but she also cares about every individual chorus member as a person. Consequently, every rehearsal, show, or competition is an uplifting experience for me, and membership in this group continues to enhance my life.”

“When I discovered Harborlites, it was online during the pandemic, and I was listening to show-choir style women’s groups because I wanted to find something that I could be a part of. So, I knew just by watching the videos that it was an excellent and committed group. But, what I found out when I ran into the Harborlites in real life was that there were so many passionate women that love being excellent at their craft, and I respect that so much. From the organization to the expectations, that is up my alley. It’s like I found my flock.”

“I can’t imagine my life without it. I joined for the music, but it’s so much more than music. It’s friendships. It’s a soul-filling thing to do.”

 – Marcia Bosma

“I came for the excellence in music and performance, and I stayed for the special love and camaraderie that exists in this very special chorus.”

 – Jo Ramsey

“I am honored to be among such talented women. I had been singing a long time in my life but took time off to raise a family, and then I got invited to join this group and sing with my daughter. So, it’s a win, win, win for me. I learn so much every day, and I’m all about the performance, and that’s just me, so I love it! I get friendship; I get teaching, and I get to perform, which is amazing.”
